Job responsibilities 




  • Lead and coordinate new material R&D projects.
  • Establish correlations between fundamental compound structure property relationships and product performance based on solid polymer and elastomer physics science.
  • Set material design guidelines for product innovation.
  • Cooperate actively with the metrology teams to expand material characterization techniques and data analysis tools.
  • Work in multidisciplinary project teams.




  • The candidate must have successfully completed a 4/5-year university study in chemistry, physical chemistry or physics (Diploma, Master) followed by a doctorate thesis (PhD).


  • The candidate must be fluent in English (oral/written).
  • Knowledge of French and/or German will be considered as an asset.
  • The candidate should have a solid experience/background in the physical characterization of polymer/composite materials.
  • Experiences with elastomers will be considered as an asset.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Knowledge on PC based software (MS Office, Matlab, Origin, statistical software, etc.)
