Goodyear Dunlop based in Luxembourg (Colmar-Berg) is currently looking for a team player with strong communication and analytical skills who is looking to join a dynamic business environment.  Our “Material Technician”will have the following responsibilities and meet the following requirements:

Job responsibilities 



  • Support to reinforcement lab and tire test lab data entry and post analysis, including compilation of results and reporting.
  • Support raw material engineers with lab data retrieval and post analysis, including compilation of results and reporting.
  • Data entry and upkeep to SIS and MIS.
  • Computer System Data mining (GMTS, GDMS, MANET, ARTS  etc.) for what has been done previously
  • Maintenance of the GMTS and MANET testing template lists for source approval
  • Plant performance data analysis using SIS and plant data systems
  • Patent searches
  • FEA reinforcement data support and MCS uploads.
  • BAC +2 – 3/ Bachelor degree required in material science, or in the chemistry field.
  • English is a must; any other language is an asset.
  • A first experience in a research and development department in Material science or chemistry is required.
Skills & Qualifications 



  • Basic computer skills required – MS Windows, Word, Excel
  • Good communication and technical documentation skills will be needed.
  • Good team player
  • Must be able to learn computer systems, skills and work processes quickly and apply to assignments
  • Highly motivated and flexible
