The fair Lignumexpo is since the year 2004 supported by EUMABOIS – the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers and it is also a reason why it takes place biannually – every two years. Lignumexpo is also registered in the calendar of 17 most prestigious fairs from the world supported by EUMABOIS.
During LIGNUMEXPO-FOREST 2008, there was 214 exhibiting companies on net exhibition space of 12 490 sqm. We have registered 12 904 visitors from all the regions of Slovakia and neighbouring countries.We continue also in organisation of the eventMNS– Materials-Novelties-Service that is a presentation of new materials for production of furniture, doors, windows and other products made of wood.
The co-organizers of the fair LIGNUMEXPO-FOREST are the Association of Wood Processing Manufacturers of the Slovak Republic – ZSD SR and the state comp. Lesy Slovenskej republiky.
Cooperation during the preparation of the fair is also with the Ministries of Agriculture and Economy of the Slovak republic and the Technical university of Zvolen. The seminars and presentations are taking place directly in exhibition halls so that it is easy for visitors to take part.
