Since a few weeks, our webshop for Europe is online. Apart from a selection of our products, every now and then we offer special items and factory seconds, as in our showrooms in Munich and New York. Of course you also find frequently requested spare parts. At present, shipping to all countries of the EU is free. Have a look now! And of course, it is not perfect yet. Our new wall lamp 18 x 18 is on stock and ready for shipment. The minimalist design and the thin materials give a light appearance like a flying piece of paper. Two ball-joints provide high flexibility of the reflector made of powder-coated aluminium. 18 x 18 is suitable for use as ceiling or wall light and is equipped with a mains voltage LED module. The brightness is adjustable with a number of standard dimmers. For a list of suitable components, please read the mounting instruction available on our website.
In autumn 2015, Ingo Maurer arranged to have 14 golden Mozzkitos made. Currently, some are on display in our Munich showroom. The design for the table lamp picks up on the beauty of normal objects of everyday use. The tea strainer encases a small halogen spotlight. The beautiful special version is electro-plated and is available for 1,450 Euro (while supply lasts).
From February 20 – 28, it is Munich Creative Business Week in our home town. We invited the Dutchman Dirk Vander Kooij to present his work in Munich. The designer has been an intern at Ingo Maurer for a short term in 2009. In the meantime, Dirk Vander Kooij has become one of the most creative and influential young Dutch designers and creates products with a strong expression. In his works, chairs, tables, vases and lamps he combines tradition and technology, handicraft and digital robot technology. www.dirkvanderkooij.com
From March 13 – 18, we exhibit at the trade fair light+building in Frankfurt am Main. As in the past years, you’ll find us in hall 1.2, stand J40. We would be happy to arrange appointments with you in advance.
Salone del Mobile, Milan. In April 2016 you will find us at a new location in the city of Milan. From April 12 – 17, we’ll present new works by Ingo Maurer and Team in San Paolo Converso, an amazing former church on Piazza Sant’Eufemia corner of Corso Italia. We’ll provide information on opening hours in another newsletter.
