CORE 2011_

The FNR has the pleasure to invite to participate in two CORE 2011 Events:

1. CORE 2011 Information Day

on 17 January 2011 at 5 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce
(7, rue Alcide de Gaspéri, Luxembourg-Kirchberg)

(Registration is not required!)

The FNR Secretariat will give a brief overview of the CORE domains of the Call 2011 as well as the preliminary call schedule. A short presentation of an ongoing public private partnership will be given and the scientific library of the BNL will be presented. The FNR CORE Team will be at your disposal for further information.

A short drinks reception is foreseen after the presentations.

2. CORE 2011 Training Seminar
“Key Factors for a Successful Proposal”

on 18 & 19 January 2011 at the Chamber of Commerce.

(The seminar is free of charge. Registration is mandatory!)

The training seminar is especially dedicated to young researchers planning to submit a proposal in the next CORE call (CORE 2011).

The CORE 2011 training seminar is divided into 2 parts:

  • A first lecture part, with all 45 registered participants, will be held on the morning of Tuesday, 18 January 2011.
  • The second part will consist in a half day practice session on “how to write a convincing summary of a proposal including analyses of dos and don’ts in proposals”. Three sessions, with a maximum of 15 participants each, will be held: one in the afternoon of Tuesday 18 January 2011, one in the morning of Wednesday 19 January 2011 and one in the afternoon of Wednesday 19 January 2011.
