Building a trusted construction framework through Project Management_

The  speakers will share their experiences and observations on project management in the construction sector.

Mr. Philipp Horn will start with a case study titled “The EIB New building – Project and Environmental Management”. He will describe the Project Management model, the construction process, the bank’s environmental efforts before, during and after the construction and finally the “lessons learnt” from this project.

Mr. Philippe Wetzel will focus on the basic contract approaches in the construction business. He will give a short overview of existing contract models for managing complex construction projects. Then, he will highlight the different contract types based on his practical experience.

Mr. Jos Dell will address the relations between client, architect, engineer and project manager in the design and building process.

Registration starts at 18h00. Prior to the registration, a tour of the new EIB building will be organised at 17h30. Presentations are from 18h30 to 20h15, followed by a networking cocktail.

Participation is free for members of the Luxembourg and Belgium Chapters of the Project Management Institute.

Participation costs for non-members: 30 euros, payable in cash at the event.
