The Biomedicine Gala , which is part of the celebration activities accompanying the official opening of the new premises of the Luxembourg Centre for System Biomedicine (LCSB) at the Cité des Sciences on the Esch-Belval Campus, is one of the highlights of the opening events.

It will take place on Monday 26 September 2011 at 19:00

at CineBelval (Cité des Sciences) (7, avenue du Rock’n’Roll, Campus Belval, near Esch-Alzette).

The science talk show will be hosted by the famous Luxembourgish science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar. Together with Rudi Balling, director of the LCSB, he will welcome the Luxembourg Ministers for Health and Social Security, Mars Di Bartolomeo, and for Economy and Foreign Trade, Jeannot Krecké, as well as the “pioneer” of systems biology, Leroy Hood from Seattle, and the Luxembourgish ‘Mr. Science‘ from the National Research Fund, Joseph Rodesch.

The Biomedicine Gala is funded by the National Research Fund.
