Airtech is reinforcing its position as leader in vacuum bagging and composite tooling technology by always investing in the right material developments and production methods. During the JEC show 2012 Airtech showed innovative products and services for resin infusion process.
Airtech booth was constantly crowded and the visitors highly appreciated the daily vacuum bagging demonstration which showed innovative products and new solutions for hollow section stiffeners. During the exhibition, Airtech introduced with success the new vacuum breather pad Dahlpac MC79 with zero resin bleed for resin infusions.
Dahlpac MC79 is an easy to use strip material that allows vacuum to be applied over the surface of a composite laminate with no resin bleed out and little part mark-off. The use of the new vacuum breather pad ensures complete resin wet out and avoid dry patches by achieving efficient total air removal with vacuum distribution over the part surface.
Airtech has highlighted the latest product development in its Airseal sealant tape range. The range can now cover the market needs in the temperature range up to 150°C and be competitive at the same time.
Airseal sealant tapes from Airtech are designed to be used by all composite shops producing FRP parts for the marine, commercial and wind-energy industry with cure in heated tools or oven.

The Innovative Mobile Vacuum Kart was presented at JEC show being used to create vacuum during resin infusion demonstration.
The innovative Mobile Vacuum Kart (MVK 2011) is the ideal plug-and-play system used for creating vacuum in prepreg and resin infusion applications, offering an excellent mobility in the shop. The vacuum pump installed inside the cart is a rotary vane pump (25 m³/h) with single phase motor 230 V,50/60 Hz. The chart has 6 AQD 500TF male parts, ideal for multi vacuum hose connections!
