The AFR is organizing the « AFR Networking day » on Friday 21st June 2013 from 14h onwards.
As you will see in the agenda attached, BioLux and Luxdoc are jointly organizing the workshop 6 on « The Up’s and Down’s of Project Management ».
During our workshop participants will work on a small funny project.
We are looking for volunteers who are willing to support us in the organization and assisting of the participants during the time of the workshop i.e. from 15h to 18h. Each workshop is only 45min long, thus you do not need to stay all time.
Besides hands-on training, participants will learn from professionals about the essentials to develop career strategies in view of successful professional development. The event is also a unique opportunity to get to know other researchers working in your domain.
Registration is free and open to all doctoral and postdoctoral researchers in Luxembourg.

CHRISTIAN B. JUNG
HIGH-TECH GRUENDERFONDS BONN, GERMANY
Christian is a Luxembourg national, who after finishing High School at the ”Athenée de Luxembourg” left for Munich where he studied Molecular Biotechnology. After receiving his bachelor degree, Christian spent some time in Australia to focus on drug development and pharmacology. Upon his return, he finished his master degree before enrolling in the PhD program Medical Science and Technology, where he was working in the lab of Prof. Laugwitz on modeling cardiac genetic diseases. The project led to several publications in high-ranked journals and was funded by the FNR. Since April 2012, Christian is working as an Investment Manager at the Bonnbased “High-Tech Gründerfonds”, helping to transfer good projects into successful businesses.
